IS NO AVAILABLE SPACE SAFE FROM ADVERTISING??? CBS IS HYPING ITS NEW SEASON ON. . . EGGS!!!
You know how THE MAN sometimes puts advertising messages on those stickers that come on your fruit? Well, CBS is taking that general concept to the EXTREME. . . by hyping their fall schedule on. . . EGGS.
--Some 35 MILLION eggs will carry logos and slogans "egg-vertising". . . and yes, that's the phrase they're using. . . some of their shows, beginning in September.
--As if this concept weren't annoying enough, the slogans are all silly egg-related puns, and they'll include. . .
--"CSI: Crack the Case on CBS"
--"The Amazing Race: Scramble to Win on CBS"
--And. . . "Shark: Hard-Boiled Drama".
--"Shelling Out Laughs" and "Funny Side Up" are just two of the EGGS-cruciating slogans CBS will be using for some of its comedies. (???)
