POSITION INFORMATION
Title: News Director /Air Personality

Position Summary (25 words or 250 characters maximum)
Oversee the News Department for Cumulus Media - Harrisburg. Write and record newscasts. Air Personality and co-host of The WINK Wake-Up Show on WINK 104.

Job Description:
Write and anchor seven (7) newscasts each morning for WINK 104. Write and record newscasts for 93.5 WTPA and THE TOUCH 95.3. Airshift Monday – Friday 10am – 12 noon. Record weather forecasts each morning. Participate as co-host of The WINK Wake-Up Show. Attend weekly morning show meetings. Set-up interviews and record weekly public affairs show "People and Perspectives". Keep quarterly public issue reports. Collect community assertainments. Contact schools and organize "Operation Snowfall" during inclement weather. Appear at community events, Public Appearances and Live Action Broadcasts. Accompany listeners/winners to promotional events. Responsible for various commercial production.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience/knowledge of news gathering services and software. Prompt, dependable and reliable. Ability to operate radio electronic equipment. Strong computer skills. Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be creative. Good voice announcer.
